Pre-requisite
This course strongly recommends that you must have at least knowledge of linux or basics and fundamentals of linux network capabilities must be known to you. No prior knowledge of programming is required.

BASH Shell Programming
Linux Shell programming is useful for automating everyday tasks by executing Linux commands from within a script. Shell programming is especially popular with system administrators, but can be helpful to programmers, database administrators, CGI programmers, and end users as well.

Phase II

Regular Expressions (RegEx)
This course focuses on the application of POSIX and Perl-compatible Regular Expressions.
Regular Expressions are critical to efficiently parsing textual data (log file content, data feeds, files & directories, etc.). RegEx support is included with Linux | Unix operating systems via ubiquitous tools such as: grep, awk, sed, Perl, PHP, etc., and provides systems administrator/engineers and developers alike, the ability search, time-effectively, considerable amounts of textual data, using literals, character classes, metacharacters, metasequences, etc.

Phase III

Awk & Sed
This course focuses on the common Linux | Unix text transformation utilities: Awk & Sed.
Awk & Sed are critical to efficiently parsing textual data (log file contents, data feeds, file & directory listings, etc.). Awk provides field (Column) processing and reporting, whereas Sed facilitates streams (Automated Text Editing) processing. Both support interactive and non-interactive (scripted) execution.
This course will teach you automated field and streams processing.

Phase IV

Perl Programming
The Practical Extraction Report Language (Perl) is a popular and portable scripting language used by anyone who needs to extract and manipulate data coming from text files, log files, databases, pipes etc. Perl is extremely powerful and fast, but easier to learn than languages like C and Java. The student will be able to produce working and meaningful Perl programs upon completion of this course.

Phase V

Python Programming
Designed for programmers with experience in at least one other language, this Python course teaches you the fundamentals of programming in Python.
This hands-on Python training uses a series of lectures, demonstrations, and exercises to teach students how to design, develop, and debug Python applications. Students attending this Python training course will learn the fundamentals of Python, including data types, object oriented model, list comprehension, exception handling, flow control/looping, packages, modules, inheritance, and much more.

Students can research a topic and can submit a paperwork on the selected subject. LinoBox Trainers will guide them for the preparation of it.
